After creating this hand-painted tuxedo jacket, celebrity stylist Jesse J saw it in my collection and had to have it for this post-apocalyptic-themed photoshoot with Grammy-Nominated Singer/Actress V Bozeman. Creative director Tre’ Major’s vision was to celebrate Women's History Month by capturing this powerful image in contrast to what's happening currently in our culture, along with the uprise of the Black Panther movie. In the essence of empowerment, felt it would make a powerful statement by channeling a look inspired by Joan of Ark.
